Division I Cincinnati St Ursula Academy over Cincinnati Ursuline Academy 15-12,10-15,15-11 Coach Perry is the best. 7 finals 7 titles. The division I title was a little harder than any of the 6 division II titles for Cin. St. Ursula Academy, her team actually lost a few games. They only have one senior on her roster and that is bad news for Division I teams in 2002. Can you say 8. Need a kill? Set Beth Gillming, this soph MB is a total stud. Division II St Bernard Roger Bacon over Galion 15-8,15-5 Roger Bacon finally broke through with a dominating victory over 2 time defending champ Galion. Emily Withers set a wonderful match and should lead this Junior dominated team back to States in 2002. Division III Cleveland Villa Angela-St Joseph over Zoarville Tuscarawas Valley 6-15,15-4,15-13 The cardiac kids from Cleveland are back. VASJ staged 2 of the biggest comebacks witnessed at the State Tournament. They lost game 1 of their semifinal to Huron 15-13 after trailing at one point 11-1. Down 13-8 in the second, they turned it on to win 16-14. A stunned Huron squad collapsed to a 15-6 third game. Game 3 in the final and down 12-6 to Tuscarawas Valley. They roll back to take the game 15-13 Division IV Bascom Hopewell-Loudon over Centerburg 16-14,2-15,15-11 Hopewell Louden won their 5th straight with a rematch of Centerburg.
